BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS

Westley Todd Holiday (actor, singer, dancer, and musician) is a native of Florida and was born in the city of West Palm Beach, FL. He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Having more than 16 years of vocal/music training, 12 years of dance training, and 11 years of acting he has coined the term “musical theatre jack of all trades” and more than happy to call the stage his home! Aside from being a triple threat, Westley is also a pianist skilled in sight-reading and has worked professionally as an accompanist and music director. Most recently, he and his Cabaret group “Bending Threads” have performed to sold-out Cabaret houses all over New York City (such as the Metropolitan Room, Don’t Tell Mama, The Duplex, and the Iguana Lounge) and he was preliminarily nominated for "Best Music Director" (MAC & Nightlife Awards, 2010). He enjoys it all; teaching, vocal coaching, directing, choreographing, arranging, transposing, composing, writing poetry…even serving as a dance captain or a vocal captain! Westley has worked internationally, nationally, and Off-Off Broadway with such regional theaters as: the Apollo Theatre, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Roy Arias Theaters (The Living Room Project), Manhattan Theater Source, Seaside Music Theater, American Family Theater, the Orlando Repertory Theatre, Universal Studios Florida, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and Wild Adventures Theme Park (Herschend Family Entertainment). Directing projects include scenes from “A Soldier’s Play” (Charles Fuller), Neil Simon’s “Proposals”, “Miss Julie” (August Strindberg), “Grease”, “Little Shop of Horrors” and “How To Succeed In Business…”. Westley has studied, taken master classes, and worked on-stage with such people as: Faye Dunaway, Charles Nelson Reily, Stephen Schwartz, Kathy Lee Gifford, Melvin Van Peebles, Andrea Burns (original cast, “Songs For A New World”, “In The Heights”), Pat Birch (original choreographer to “Grease” and “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown"), and the late Karl Anderson. Westley dedicates every single performance of his life to God, his family/friends, and the wonderful cast and crew he works with!
